2002 Chrysler Pt Cruiser Engine View

Best known for its prowess in tuning Hondas, Jackson Racing is currently developing a PT Cruiser supercharger kit. Based on an Eaton Gen IV Roots-type blower, the JR unit will put out about 4.5 psi of boost, bringing the horsepower up from 115 (at the wheels) to 170. The kit will include a two-piece, cast-aluminum intake manifold; billet CNC aluminum bracketry for the belt drive; and proprietary fuel-enrichment electronics. Once the development work is completed, JR will submit the kit to the C.A.R.B. to obtain an E.O. number, making the blower 50-state smog legal. Jackson Racing expects to debut the kit in October.
