It rained today. Ok, so it rained a lot today but the Power Tour doesn't stop for such things. Sure Mother Nature and the DOT in three states overtly threw just about everything they had us - downpours, closing a three-lane highway down to one, orange cones mile after mile - to a point where we were actually going slow enough to count cigarette butts strewn on the side of the highway, but, hey, we made it to Racine for Day 3 and the Power Tour rolled on.

The Racine venue was in an awesome spot right on Lake Michigan and we wondered how far we could see toward Michigan if it was a clear day. Right in front us, however, was plenty to see. Muscle and classic cars of all years, makes and models kept motoring in to line the roads or take their place in one of two parking lots jammed with show-worthy cars.

Tomorrow begins with the "Power Trip at Union Grove Breakfast" Morning Drivers' Meeting and Fun Runs at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, WI. The track will be open to participants for runs down the track, assuming their cars pass tech of course, after that we head south for Springfield, IL. We'll see you on the road...
