Ditch the bench. Ours was split open and in irretrievable recline. This seat caused our test wheelman, ex-Motor Trend staffer Mac DeMere, to wax fondly about his dating practices in the deep South in the early ’70s while driving a Torino with a seat much like this one. Less fond were Mac’s comments after sloshing around the cabin while slaloming Monte1go.
