Every now and then, HOT ROD does a special section on tech tips. Problem is, there are times when we’re just flat stumped and can’t come up with any new tips. Sure, we could rehash old tips, but that’s a cop-out. You see, your faithful HOT ROD staff numbers only four, and since there are roughly 850,000 of you out there who read this magazine, we realized where we could get a bunch of new tech tips: from you. A few months ago we put out the call to see what trick tips, tools, and so forth you readers have gleaned from your cumulative years of hot rodding, and the following were the newest and best tips of the bunch. Here’s to hoping they help you with your hot rod. If you’ve got a tip that you haven’t seen published, or a new spin on an old goodie, send it in. We’re thinking of making this a monthly deal in the magazine.
