Small Block Mopar Engine Pushrod Spacing
A limiting factor in a Magnum engine is the distance between the pushrods, which limits the size of the port window. While LA-series engines share this limitation, with shaft mounts the earlier engines are easily modified using offset intake rockers for much wider ports. This becomes a point to consider if you're looking to make 550-plus horsepower with a large-port head, or for maximum power with big stroker combinations.
